For Beginners and Enthusiasts

Papersky provides excellent introductory workshops designed for beginners who are interested in learning
about photography. Our workshops are conducted in small, intimate group sessions that allow individuals to receive
personalised attention, feedback and guidance. We offer a range of informative photo walks and studio lighting workshops,
all of which are designed to help participants develop their skills and confidence in photography.

Technical Theory

Part of the workshop will involve learning about the basic do’s and don’t, Camera Lenses, different Photographic Styles,
the Rules of Thirds, Exposure and Understanding Light (Aperture/ Shutter Speed/ ISO) and the basics of Image Processing.

Photowalk

A large part of the sessions will be out and about putting some of the theories you have learnt into practice, providing participants
with an opportunity to learn about composition, lighting, and other important aspects of photography. This includes
Composition/ Motion/ Depth (Aperture/ Shutter Speed).

Studio and Lighting

Studio lighting workshops offer hands-on experience learning how to work with models, different lighting
techniques and equipment, as well as tips for creating professional-quality photographs.
